Well Miami play 6 ranked teams last year and according to AU's schedule they only played 2 teams that were ranked the week they played AU. Even USC in the weak PAC-10 played 4 ranked team during the regular season. Teams outta the SEC that I feel did play tough schedules and still had a good season last year were, LSU, UT, and UF. It really depends on what teams you draw from the other side of the conferece, for example, if UT can draw Bama, Miss, and Miss. St in the same season they would have the upper hand in the east. Same goes if a team outta the west can draw Vandy, UK, and SC in the same season.
This season my Noles are playing IMO one of the toughest schedules in the nation. The notable games are...
@ Clemson
@ Colorado
Alabama (in Jacksonville)
@ Wake Forest
Miami
@ Boston College
@ Virginia Tech
@ Florida
Only one home game out of those 8 games, could be a rough season ahead for Nole fans, but I'm optimistic.
It's not where ur ranked in the year...it's where ya end up...and Miami's schedule last year was weak...big east teams and the weak acc...and they still struggled.
That's the only thing I don't like about SEC guys, they think that every other team in the nation is weaker and can't possibly play a better schedule then any team in the SEC.
I have no problem saying the SEC is tops in College football, but they aren't as far ahead as some might think.
their overall win percentage of all teams was 4 tenths higher than any other conference in the nation...i think that says enough...BUT every conference has a couple of teams that dominate and they concentrate on beating those teams...but top to bottom there is no comparison...but with things as they are, no undefeated SEC champ should always play in the national championship.
Last year I feel was one of the best for the SEC in a few years, and one of the worst for the ACC.
I figure it was mabye a slightly above avg year for tha SEC but you are right the ACC was WAY down
IMHO when Miami and FSU gets there stuff stright the top of that conferance will be as tough as anyone in the nation

And that could be as soon as this year or next. Trust me, the ACC's in good shape.
The ACC can be a great conference...hasn't transpired yet tho

All the more reason for SEC people like yourself to blow the horn for them now while you can...you know it's really just a matter of time until the ACC becomes the deepest and best CFB conference.
